Some of my favorite memories are of the evening that Shane and Emily came over to our house for dinner back in '95. I just had my tonsils out and was whacked out of my gourd on codeine. Shane and I were drinking and Alexa (who was 3 1/2) had just learned how to moon and give wet willies. She spent the entire evening jumping on him trying to stick her finger in his ear and then running away and mooning him from across the room.

One of the things I remember Shane saying the most was "Holmlund, knock it off!!" as Mike used him for a punching bag. It cost Holmy his wrist one day.

There were a lot of good nights drinking down in the Old Market and singing TV theme songs to everyone who would listen and plenty of other good times at DJs.

Shane Gump was always entertaining back on 8 or 9.

I remember when Shane and Emily were driving back from Colorado once and he finally gave up on 'the turd' and abandoned it on the side of I80.

One night Shane and I were hanging out drinking and watching racy videos at my house. We were drunk off our asses and then I shot him in the butt with a BB gun. I handed it to him and he shot me back. This went back and forth for a while and we both had plenty of bruises later.

Shane's undershirts and flight-suits. Man that guy could sweat! Shane was a great person and will be sorely missed.

To quote Eric Moravcik , "There are rapists and murderers running around out there. This just isn't fair."
