Hector Rafael Gonzalez 'Gonzy' born September 16, 1930 and raised in Coamo, Puerto Rico passed away March 17, 2002. He was educated and graduated in Coamo, Puerto Rico and joined the United States Air Force on the 15th of April, 1952 in New York City. 

His tours of duty include the Far East and Europe. Hector was discharged from the Air Force on April 16, 1972 in Rhein Main, Germany. 

He returned to the United States and chose San Antonio, Texas to live. His hobbies that he loved to do were bowling and golfing. 

Hector was married to the former school teacher Nilda Esther Rivera May 30, 1953. He was preceded in death by his parents Epifanio and Maria Gonzalez; son, Alberto J. Gonzalez; brothers, Angel L. Gonzalez and Evelio Gonzalez. Survivors include Nilda Gonzalez; daughter, Lisa I. Click and husband Keith; sisters Myrta Badea and Maria Gonzalez; brother, Justino Gonzalez; grandchildren, Christopher and Brian Click; with numerous nieces and nephews.
