Steve's retirement ceremony was on August 4, 2000. 

    On  to the description of the photos themselves, The first is a picture of my family and I (myself, my wife Modesta, my son Steven, my older daughter Carol and my younger daughter Kathryn).   The second photo shows the shadowbox I was being awarded during the ceremony.  Among other mementos from my career, the shadowbox houses the 11 medals I earned from Language Olympics competition (5 gold, 3 silver, three bronze).
